The 2,674 editions of the Weekly Manga Goraku magazine of the Nihonbungeisha publishing house revealed today that the manga by Koji Shinasaka and Akihiro Kumeta, Monkey Peak will have a sequel entitled Monkey Peak -The Rock-, to be published on November 1.
The magazine also published the last chapter of the Monkey Peak manga, as previously announced. The twelfth compilation volume will be published on October 18.
Shinasaka and Kumeta began publishing the manga in the magazine in September 2016. The publisher published the eleventh volume compiled on August 1. Shinasaka is responsible for manga writing and Kumeta is responsible for the art. An anime adaptation was released in the Anime Beans app last October.
The horror manga focuses on a group of employees of a pharmaceutical company who embark on a mountain climbing trip and who are face to face with the tragedy at the hands of a kind of mysterious apes when they reach the top.
The manga is starred by a group of employees of a pharmaceutical company that set out on a trip together to climb a mountain, but when they reach their peak they know the misfortune due to mysterious monkeys they find there.

Tomovies is responsible for animating the series.
Shinseki and Kumeta launched the manga at Nihonbungeisha’s Weekly Manga Gokuraku in September 2016 and their eighth compilation volume is dated November 9. Shinsuke takes care of the script and Kumeta of the drawing.
