On October 26, Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata Fine will be released in Japan, a new film based on the series of light novels that bear the same name. Contrary to what was believed when the project was announced, the production will not review the television manga but will tell a completely original story.

The changes regarding the series will not only be in terms of plot, but will also arrive in the staff as reported by CloverWorks. Kanta Kamei is the head of director while Akihisa Shibata, who was in charge of two episodes of the anime, will be the director. Fumiaki Maruto writes the script and Tomoaki Takase designs the characters.

The series features Tomoya Aki, an otaku high school student who meets a beautiful girl named Megumi Kato. After meeting her, her life takes a turn and all her relationships with girls become more complicated, especially because they are all next to him in a circle of doujinshis.
